The silent attack of the killer mosquitoes

Another sunny afternoon in Mumbai.  The crows are circling in the sky above the trees.  There were 2 pigeons watching me on the railing outside my window.

I am up early today because the Cable Guy came today and hooked up the TV.  I just finished watching Get Smart the movie.  Now I am watching Jumanji.  There are more cable movie channels here than my home.  Now there is a different sound in the apartment.  The funny thing about the movie was it was in English with English subtitles.  Interesting?

I have found I am the new blood bank source for the Indian mosquitoes.  It is amazing I cannot hear or see them, but the number of bites I have are crazy.  I am putting on repellent.  The bites grow bigger as the days go on.  They burn and itch.  I am sitting on the terrace at work eating and talking with everyone.  I go back to my "pod" and more mosquito bites appear.  They prefer my right upper arm the most.  They must like my AB+ blood.  I want to believe the prefer my blood because it is so sweet.  Stop laughing - ALL OF YOU!  Don't you know the poem about girls:
What are little girls made of?
Sugar and spice,
And everything nice,
That's what little girls are made of.

Vijeta, Madhura, Ashish and I are planning to go shopping today before work, but there is a protest about tolls the government wants to impose.  I did not get the full story, but no one in the world wants more of their money taken by the government.  So it has been postponed until tomorrow.  Ashish is coming to hold the bags.  Of course, we enjoy his company.

Madhura is a beautiful young woman who sits quietly in front of her monitors working.  She is one of the few women techs in the group.  You think she is not listening but she can hold her own among the men in the group.  It is the quiet ones you need to be careful of.

I went to work early yesterday and I met Shirin the only Hub Gal so she is Hub Gal #1.  I met most of the off hours team.  It is very quiet at that time.  They were all working very hard.  Take it from me they are always booked for work.

I had a great time training the Integration PMs.  The training rooms here are amazing.  We should have something similar in Westboro.  The only problem others taking the training room booked by you.  This happens everywhere.  There are 20 people standing around trying to figure out where the training will take place it must look ridiculous.  Unfortunately, the last training with the Interface Trainers took place in the small huddle room near the Techs because all of the training rooms including the one blocked for us were taken.  It is amazing how many people can fit into a small room.  Once someone in the room started Sharmeen laughing it was heard everywhere.  Her laugh is so infectious.  I love it!  They videotaped her laughing a couple of year ago.  Moazzam showed me the video last week.  It makes everyone laugh when watching it.

Franky is another Interface Trainer.  He has the best voice.  It is very deep.  He keeps your attention.  He is always has a twinkle in his eyes.  He is extremely funny.  When I hear his name I picture everyone raising their hands in the air and saying "FRAN - KAY! A - O!".  This is from "Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit".

I have to finish getting ready.  I am going to work early to get stuff done.

Take Care~
